About Us

Glaven Meadow Guest House is run by Sue Rosser and her husband, Charles. Sue's family is from the local village of Letheringsett so she is very familiar with the area.

Peace and tranquillity are guaranteed - this is a very quiet location in the Glaven valley, and the house backs onto water meadows where barn owls hunt. A stroll of a few hundred yards down to the Letheringsett ford provides a picturesque and peaceful spot for a quiet few moments.

Sue and Charles enjoy the company of friends and love to welcome guests into their home. The atmosphere is relaxed, attentive and warm. They are committed to caring for their environment and where possible only make use of products that support this ideal.

Sue used to run her own restaurant and now offers generous cooked breakfasts using local organic produce where possible, including their own eggs (when the hens are laying!). Special diets can be catered for and prior notice of this is appreciated.

There are numerous good eating places in the surrounding North Norfolk area to cater for all tastes, from bistros to Galton Blakiston's Michelin-starred Morston Hall restaurant. The King's Head in Letheringsett is within walking distance and enjoys an excellent reputation. Booking is normally essential.

Detailed local maps are available for guests to borrow, along with games, books and DVDs.
